Creating profiles

Psy-boy, please use templates to create profiles. If you're unsure, please read the help pages. --ComiX-Fan 21:20, 21 March 2006 (EST)

Psy-boy, you really do need to read the help page for more information on how to post profiles. If you keep just adding straight text to a profile's page, unfortunately they will continue to be deleted. --ComiX-Fan 08:42, 27 March 2006 (EST)

psy-boy, please use a template when creating a profile for a character, team, event or anything else. You can find some help with creating profiles in the Help area and the templates themselves in the Help Posting area of the site. The templates are used to create a standard system for the Marvel Encyclopedia to show a uniformity with the entire site.
Also when making a profile, please list as much information as possible. If you know the character's hair or eye color, then list that. If you know their powers, weapons or appearances, then please list those as well. Profiles that only have a one line for information and nothing else won't get approved. Because of this, your recent profile can not be approved. Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not the feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 09:31, 12 August 2006 (EDT)

Gods

Psi-boy, your waisting your time with the Zeus, Hera, etc.... bios; you need to type (http://www.marvel.com/universe/Zeus; or any other character you want to create) into your url box, click the edit button in the top right corner, then copy and paste the person template into the text box then fill in the appropriate info and save it (be sure to include sources). If you do this I'll most likely approve it.--Viper

Viper, while you have the ability to approve edits, it is intended for you to use on your own submissions. Please don't abuse that power. --ComiX-Fan 08:28, 23 March 2006 (EST)

Templates

Go to these links for templates, then copy and paste them, and fill in the spaces: template:person, template:place, template:team, and template:event. I hope this helps. sononsj 23:43, 19 April 2006 (EDT)

Silver Fox

Psy-boy, can you please cite your sources for Silver Fox having "animal & plant telepathy which allowed her to talk & manipulate them"? Also, please check the Help pages for the correct format for adding an image to a profile. --ComiX-Fan 10:09, 8 June 2006 (EDT)

Creating a profile (plagiarizing)

psy-boy, please do not plagiarize (copy) from other websites. One reason (there are others of course) is that it can cause legal problems down the line for Marvel. Because of that, we want the profiles here to be original text. Another reason is we cannot guarantee that the information is correct, especially from a site like Wikipedia, where people can edit without it being verified.
You may take the text from an OHotMU and use that (as long as you mention where your source of information came from).
Also, please use a template when creating a profile for a character, team, event or anything else. You can find some help with creating profiles in the Help area and the templates themselves in the Help Posting area of the site. The templates are used to create a standard system for the Marvel Encyclopedia to show a uniformity with the entire site.
Because of this, your recent group of profiles can not be approved. Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not the feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 13:24, 23 August 2006 (EDT)

psy-boy, I see DragynWulf previously warned you about plagiarising, but you did it again when you posted the Mirage entry, which you copied straight from Wikipedia. Please understand - plagiarised articles will never be approved, so posting them merely wastes your time and that of the moderators, and if you continue to try and post such articles after being asked not to by the moderators, you may be banned. Please do your own research, and do not copy other people's work. Stuart Vandal 21:12, 4 March 2007 (EST), moderator
