Vector's history is largely unrevealed. As Simon Utrecht, he was known as a millionaire industralist as well as a holder of public office. Not satisfied, he wanted superhuman powers in order to persue power and personal gain, and commissioned a project that would ultimately simulate the crash that gave the Fantastic Four their powers. He has remained with the U-Foes ever since. Alongside his teammates, he has had encounters with Hulk, Avengers, Spider-Man, Crossfire, Puma, Darkhawk, and Portal.
