The origin of Ziran and the Celestial race remains a mystery. Ziran is known as the "Tester" of the Celestial Fourth Host. He first appeared in the company of the cosmic entities that were in judgment of Thanos after he obtain Godhood through his acquisition of the Infinity Gems. Ziran found himself allied with the cosmic entities once again to oppose Thanos after he came to possess the Heart of the Infinite, although this time Thanos would become defiant to the judgment of the Living Tribunal, and in an act of rage Thanos appeared to take the life Ziran.
