Wanting to help his friend, Rick Jones follows Banner and finds himself in the middle of an earth-shattering battle between Iron Man and the Hulk. Added:
Forever a man on the run, Bruce Banner heads to Las Vegas to track down an escapee from the super villain prison known as the Cube. But he gets more than he bargained for.
Baron Mordo and Dormammu help Eddie Brock's cell-mate, Cletus Kasady, become the merciless villain known as Carnage. Dormammu uses Carnage to get himself into this world and the three set off to create chaos. Faced with more enemies than he can handle, Spider-Man turns to an old ally: Iron Man!
A fractal mishap finally gives M.O.D.O.K. his big chance to overthrow Dr. Doom. But with Loki's manipulations driving his big head even bigger, M.O.D.O.K. becomes an omnipotent threat to other villains and the city itself. Even the Squad (with the Black Panther's help) can't outwit "Mo-Dork". But just maybe Iron Man can inspire Dr. Doom to get his mojo back and team-up against M.O.D.O.K..
A new heroine named the Black Widow joins the team and shows the boys she can kick butt even better than them. But we soon learn she is really the shape-shifting Mystique, sent by Doom to infiltrate and get at the fractals. She nearly succeeds and leads the Squad into a Lethal Legion ambush. But Nick Fury may just have provided their ace in the hole… Screaming Mimi turns on the villains, revealing herself to be an undercover SHIELD agent named Songbird!
It's a super-team team-up as the Squad helps out the Fantastic Four with an ambush from the alien Skrulls and Super-Skrull. Meanwhile, Dr. Doom is making a devious deal with a mysterious cosmic villain named Thanos. As the battle rages in the Baxter Building and outer space, our heroes find that both threats are connected and they may have to make a deal of their own to save the Earth!
Doom's ally, Egghead, hatches a scheme to steal a fractal in the Squad's Helicarrier by shrinking to insect-size. Fortunately, the Squad can count on Ant-Man to help them chase down the villains at micro-scale. But being super-small leads them into some very unpleasant places, including Hulk's nose.
Supernatural wackiness is turning the city (and the Squad) upside-down. The Squad goes to the mysterious Dr. Strange for help, but Strange tricks them into battling the dread Dormammu. It seems a wayward fractal is stuck in the Eye of Agomotto – but can the heroes possibly free Dr. Strange from the fractal's influence, defeat Dormammu and rescue the city from an army of Mindless Ones, all at the same time?
