Dissapointed.
:phoenix: WHERE'S JEAN GREY? WHY IS EMMA FROST REPLACING HER? SHE DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME POWERS!!! DON'T GET RID OF JEAN!!!!!

It's painfully obvious that no X-Men book can be made "readable" unless Wolverine is featured. First he gets three feature films, and soon a fourth. Now he's in the spotlight AGAIN overshadowing all the other characters in Marvel. Now it's back to television with yet another cartoon series that most likely won't deliver... X-Evolution was horrible! Why don't they just kill everyone off and leave his solo series running?I read other Marvel titles, but I took a long break from the X-Men comics and return to find that nothing has changed. I'm sorry to say it but I'm beginning to hate seeing Wolverine sometimes. What used to be my favorite series is now becoming the one story I wish I never read.Theres so many loads of crap that has shot out the butt of X-Men over the years. Can there be a series made that is taken seriously? Is there such a thing as a book titled "X-Men" featuring other characters who's name isn't Wolverine???Am I the only sane person here?Real sad, Marvel... real sad.Now I need a cigarette!

[quote@RatedExtremeX Actually consindering it's going to show on nickoloedon with the Iron Man cartoon the art direction is perfect. And the only reason they are playing up Wolverine as leader is because of the X-Men Origin movies first one being wolverine and the sequel Magneto.
its actually going 2 be on nicktoons network where they have old nickolaodeon shows and some new ones :shehulk:

Wolverine is my favourite x-man but he is not their leader, cyke is. IMO wolverine should have been the loner who went off and cyke should have been the one to get them all back together.

I dont mind the animation, that is the way its always been with the other X-Men cartoons. I do however think that they should have used either the Astonishing X-Men or something like that. Wolverine is a soldier, not a leader. I'd even say he plays to the beat of his own drum, but that was a bonehead move based on popularity I'm sure. I'm a big X-Men fan, so I'll probably check it out.

This slightly irritated me as well there is no need to have a childish drawing to this, and why is it we are involving Hulk in the x-Men. Though i am happy to see all my old favorites into this movie. All i can really say is i hope it is a well movie

does anyone know if this series will be based off the original comics, ultimate universe, the movies, or is this a new take on the x-men all together? The thing I liked about the 90's series is that it tried to maintain some of the story lines of the comics that way when new readers came on board there were some story line similarities. That's how I got started on reading comics and the way the characters were portrayed in the 90's cartoon made the comics feel familar.

But cyclops (as much as I hate him) is the leader by character, without leadership he is not cyclops. Singling out wolverine is just letting everyone know that wolverine is the end-all be-all of mutants and will always be that way. Im sorry, but the clawed canadian is way overrated and will always be. He has his own movie coming out; that should be enough for you guys, drop his name from the title, it's not his team. If anything it should be Xavier and the X-men. I'd be all for that.Stick to the x-men movies (which regardless of being called 'X-men' centered around Wolverine more than anyone), your endless origin comics and upcoming origin movie, your clones (x-23 et-all), and X-force. Give someone else the spotlight for once!

I'm kinda disappointed too....I liked the 90's Art better, but this modern computer style's still fine with me...But I don't like this series messing up marvel history like this...I know, I know...probably different universe...and of course they have to introduce the sentinals and all to the kids that are new on this.......doesn't make it feel any better to me...STILL...I could cope with that...just give me some new marvel animatedBut what's really WRONG with this one is - as HenRoc already said - " WOLVERINE and the x-men "....Ok, so everybody likes Wolverine......so let'em like our Mr. Bad-Guy, but Cyke's the Leader of THIS TEAM! What's wrong with that?! Nobody ever had a problem with that fact, not even the ones who thought him a Pµ$$%!I know, now it's already made, my commentary won't change $?. But I had to say it!

Looks interesting, and if you go back and watch the 90's cartoon the art is much worse. Im glad they're putting all the low tier and less known characters from the 90's in though.
