I’m getting hooked on this show and it’s only two episodes in. I think this young Tony comes across as very realistic even though he’s flying around in rocket boots. So far to me this show has the feel of early Transformers meets Peter Parker meets Gi Joe (as far as high action content). I’m kinda glad they didn’t just do what was done before though. The tradition of Marvel comics is a tradition of innovation. So the story has mutated a bit from what I’m used to.. It was the unpredictability of mutation that got me into this in the first place.

Don't get me wrong Marvel put out some great shows during the 90's but for animated series Dc will always be kickin Marvel's ass....perhaps Marvel can take a hint from em and stop screwing with the characters history

n some BUT i have mixs feelings abote this idey. i mean ya i agrey that i am sick in tired of avry frecken cartoon haveing to have tham as kids now these days BUT on the other hand i do like new ideys and this is a new idey. it kind of seems like a what if kind of thing. it puts a new thougt in what if tonny wase a kid wane he got the armor? what would a 17 year old kid do with that kind of armor? would he be reaclies? would he do what aver he wanted? what would he do? thare is one thing that i like THAT pirtty much all of you hate. the anamaion. DOWNT get me rong i like drawing art stiles more than computer anamision BUT i see alote of good shows that have this stile of anamaion. PLUSE it brings back those feelings of the mtv spider man wich i found to be a good sere's. it is rare wane thare is a good kid super hero coz it seems that avry one cant be creative anofe to use real drama instead of stuped teen drama so thay get lazzy and use teen drama. the only teen heros that i actuly like are spidey narutox-men ( and most of tham are not evan kids) danny phantom so the idey is new BUT its not new at the same time. i wail have to rent this to see if it is any good or not.

I have to agree "Teen Tony" doesn't cut it. Not to stir the pot further, but why can't they produce a show on the level and quality of Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. They took stories right from the pages of the comics. Changing some here and there, but you felt for the characters! I'm a life long Marvel fan but those DC show blow any Marvel show out of the water.

17 year old Tony Stark nearly loses his life and his father in a fatal plane crash one day at the time when Howard Stark refuses Obadiah Stane's Earth Mover Project. Building a device that keeps him alive, Tony Stark then builds a high-tech armor and becomes Iron Man. With the help of Jim Rhodes, Happy Hogan, and Pepper Potts, Iron Man fights the enemies of World Peace which often leads him in conflict with the evil Mandarin. He also fights other villains like Crimson Dynamo, Whirlwind, Madame Masque, Blizzard, and Whiplash.from the most unreliable source, wikipedia!they mess up his origin, nice.

Oh god, you know, i love iron man so much. I completely loved the second season of the 90's animated series. But this, this is crap. This is incredibly stupid. The portrayal of Tony Stark as a kid? C'mon. And the armor design looks incredibly stupid too. Gosh, what ever happened to the guys who created the old season 2?!

Since when is Stark seven years old?

The animation looks cheap and bpring kinda like a lame version of what they tried with the MTV spiderman show. I won't watch this as Tony is a kid this is lame.

IF this was going to be a cartoon based on the new Ultimate Iron Man I think it could be kool because I seriously dig the ultimate Iron Man but I also don't even try to compare that character to the Iron Man in the MU. I see where they are trying to go with this...seriously not enough kids read comic books these days I'm 23 and most everybody in the shop when I go to pick up my books are 30+...so I can understand the motivation. This cartoon is shooting for a specific demographic obviously so maybe it will work but in the mean time everyone trying to hold on to their childhood by watching cartoons on Saturday morning (me included) will probably be dissapointed and change the channel to something kool like....YuGiOH?...or...Pokemon?...I just threw up a little in my mouth...

:hawkeye: c´mon you just made an awesome movie about iron Man why screw it with this kind of shows , i tell you im soooooooo afraid to peek at any animated show about super heroes theese days they all want to be naruto, avatar o dbz when comic book history is so much cooler than those shows anyhow i hope that this brings the old cartoons to dvd specially season 2 of the iron man animated serioes fomr the nineties and thse great shows od the 60s

I agree with everyone that wrote on this subject. The new Iron man show and Avengers Next sucks!! What is it with the whole preteen thing? It is a horrible idea at best. I mostly support Marvel in a lot of things, but this? PLEASE FIRE YOUR AD PEOPLE!! They truly have no clue!!!

I am in no way excited to see this Cartoon. As others have said this whole idea of making kiddie versions of our favorite comic heroes is a bad idea. I've been reading comics for 30 years, and didn't need child versions of the heroes to enjoy them. The new X-men cartoon series looks great, and I'm excited to watch it. As for the kiddie Avengers....which by the way my 9 year old son says "Looks Stupid!", and now Ironman; I'll be watching something else.If Marvel wants to make a teenage hero cartoon to relate to the younger audiences, why not New Warriors (Original), The Young Avengers, New X-men. There seems to me to be many teen choices already in the Marvel Universe, why not use those. Heck if they want to go younger, I loved Power Pack when I was a kid.Anyway, this is a trend I hope goes away.

why do marvel cartoons have to have childish anime animation? why can't they use art that looks like it's from the comics? OR they should continue the series from the 90's (i mean all of them, spidey, hulk, x-men, iron man and fantastic four. these are the shows i was raised on, and the new ones are an embarassment to those classics)

[quote@smokescreens Iron Man is never going to get a decent animated show will he?[/quote] He already did: it was the second season of the '90s "Iron Man" animated series, under the Marvel Action Universe banner. The first season was incredibly lame, but the second season was an almost complete revamp, and it ended up being one of the best Marvel animated shows ever. But "Armored Adventures" ... that one doesn't look remotely promising.

Are you kidding me, when is Marvel gonna understand they cant mess with their characters and expect a good response. especially when they do that stupid kid angle. Iron Man was an alcoholic who because of a tragic accident decided to change his ways and because he was a technilogical genius, he was able to build his suit. Now his dad conveniently made a suit for what purpose exactly? and to quote IRON BOY's post who brought up a good point, it conveniently was made to fit a kid?And im gonna have to disagree with DOESWHATEVERASPIDERCAN666's post. The whole idea for the manderin being a good villain against iron man was that it was magic against technology. what is it now, kid in robot suit fights big robot? Ill admit that the newest fantastic four cartoon show had its moments, but it pretty much was an embarrassment to marvel. if Marvel wants to do a good job, stick to the comics. pull your ideas from there, where the stories are good. insanely drastic changes rarely ever go over well with hardcore fans.

This is the stupidest idea I've seen come out of marvels animation department yet. Next to maybe the avenger babies movie... Rhodey is a geek, Tony is twelve, and apparently someone else made the armor? To fit a kid? Weak ****.Iron Man is never going to get a decent animated show will he?

Can you say "Fantastic Four" animated series? This one looks just as bad as that flop. Why is Marvel Animation so atrocious? And a reboot of Tony's origin so that he can be a teen? Weak, weak, weak...Stop the madness.
