Ghost Rider director Mark Steven Johnson and producer Ari Arad describe the process of turning Ghost Rider from a comic character into a movie star.
To save his dying father's life, young motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze signs a deal with the demon Mephistopheles. Deceived by the demon, Blaze's father meets an unfortunate demise in spite of the pact.
Now Johnny Blaze is the Ghost Rider, a fiery spirit of vengeance bound to do Mephistopheles' bidding. When the son of the evil fiend, Blackheart, makes a play for power, Mephistopheles commands the Ghost Rider to put an end to his son's madness.
