I LIKE This poster!!!
The more pics of the film costume I see the more I like it. I'm a Brit not yank and I think the outfit doesn't overdo the patriotism. The clothes say soldier without being OTT.
Hey, Dexxxtroyer, why not visit the Movie galery? I checked it ut and I apparently saw a triangular shield slung on Chris Evans's back. One guess to tell me what that is!
I'm still concerned about what I have heard the director say about his vision for the character. It took my genuine excitement for the movie and turned it into trepidation. One such quote is, "Cap is about justice, and not specifically justice as defined by an American perspective." Taking that quote along with others he has said that Cap is not going to be a major flag waver (Paraphrasing since I can not find the actual quote) leads me to wonder if he really understand the character of Captain America. His quotes almost sound like he wants to take the America out of Captain America.I hope I am just reading more into the quotes than what he means to say.As far as the costume goes. It's not bad. Although I am really wondering where Cap's shield is in the above photo. It doesn't appear to be after he has just thrown it, it seems like he just does not have it for this scene.

I think Cap looks rather rugged, gritty and tough. Fits well with the time period (WWII?). Hard times called for hardened, determined men. Let's hope he isn't too preachy(flag waving)but decisive and awe-inspiring both in his feats and beliefs. I think we all need a hero to remind us of the virtues we once cherished but have set aside for less satisfying and often hollow or dubious victories ...
