FIRST APPEARANCE

He may have worn the red and blue, but Miles was still very much a kid in his debut issue!

Following the death of the Ultimate Universe’s Peter Parker, Miles assumed the mantle after gaining spider-powers of his own. Although, in addition to sticking to walls and having the proportional strength of an arachnid, Miles had invisibility skills and bio-electrical powers to boot.

Although this legacy was heavy, a young and grounded Miles proved more than ready for the challenge. Today, Miles has joined the prime Marvel Universe, serving as an Avenger, a Champion, and a solo hero in his very own ongoing. But it all started here.

ORIGIN SERIES

AKA, the “learning curve” series. Set in the Ultimate Universe, we recommend this run for new readers, a definitive origin that takes you back to the beginning.

Following ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4, Miles was thrust into a world he didn’t understand, with only gut instinct and a little thing called responsibility as his guides. Living up to Peter Parker’s namesake was one thing, but grappling with his dizzying new powers was something else entirely.

As Miles reconciled with his super-heroic life, his Uncle Aaron, AKA the Prowler, learned his nephew’s secret with dangerous repercussions. Aaron Davis may have had plans for his nephew, but little did he know that the Scorpion was on his tail too…

MEETING PETER PARKER

Fans of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: this one’s for you.

Universes collided for the first time in one ultimate Spider-Man story. Superstar writer Brian Michael Bendis and powerhouse artist Sara Pichelli at last united the wall-crawlers of two worlds.
