In the main Marvel reality, Spider-Man sought help immediately after discovering that his snazzy new black costume actually possessed a mind of its own. On Earth-1089, however, Parker waited too long and allowed the alien symbiote to take control and literally suck the life out of him!

The retired Spider-Man of Earth-982

The Peter Parker of the MC2 universe retired from crime fighting following the loss of his leg in a battle with the Green Goblin.
