Carmen Carnero and Saladin Ahmed Introduce Miles Morales to 'Outlawed'
Coming in April, 'Miles Morales: Spider-Man' #17 ties in to the game-changing event!
This April, MILES MORALES: SPIDER–MAN #17 will be among the first series to tie-in to the most earth-shattering young hero event in history, OUTLAWED!
And uniting to tell the tale will be series scribe Saladin Ahmed alongside Web-Head newcomer (and CAPTAIN MARVEL all-star), Carmen Carnero!
Team MILES MORALES welcomes the INCREDIBLE Carmen Carnero and welcomes readers faithful and fresh to discover what life is like for Brooklyn’s teen Spider–Man in the OUTLAWED age! It’s time for young people to stand together or fall apart! But who will need Miles to risk the wrath of C.R.A.D.L.E.?
How does the artist feel about swinging into this new story? “It's terrifying, but in a good way," says Carnero. "Whenever I’ve been asked which character I wouldn’t want to draw, my answer was always the same: Spider-Man. Mind you, not because I don’t like the character, I ADORE SPIDER-MAN, but because I feel so much respect for him (and even more after the amazing work Javi Garrón has done!). But man, do I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE. It’s a huge change for my 'brain muscles' after my last gigs at CAPTAIN MARVEL or X-MEN: RED, and I thank Marvel for trusting me with this book, because I know I’m going to learn a lot, and I’m going to give my 100% to tell the tales of Miles’ life along with Saladin.”
Read OUTLAWED #1 at your local comic shop this March, then pick up MILES MORALES: SPIDER–MAN #17 in April!
