'Death of the Silver Surfer' First Look Sends Shockwaves Through the Cosmos

Norrin Radd's time as the Sentinel of the Spaceways comes to an end this summer in DEATH OF THE SILVER SURFER (2025) by Greg Pak and Sumit Kumar. When a formidable new enemy capable of wiping away all that he is and will be, the Silver Surfer must make a choice that will either be his salvation or... his damnation.

In an interview with CBR, Pak revealed more about the mortal peril that awaits the Silver Surfer. "Danger is coming from two places, really," he explained. "An incredibly dangerous, homegrown, human threat from right here on Planet Earth, and a mind-bending cosmic threat unlike anything you've seen before."

The preview for DEATH OF THE SILVER SURFER #1 opens with Norrin Radd staring off into the void of space as Galactus feeds on yet another world. However, a looming cosmic threat puts the Silver Surfer back on a collision course with Earth. As the Surfer descends onto the planet the Fantastic Four call home, he finds it ravaged by war. His Earth-bound allies then race across the battlefield to meet him.
