'Edge of Spider-Verse' #1 Preview Debuts Venomsaurus and Spider-Killer

EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE is back! Last year’s romp through the Spider-Verse introduced fans to a whole flurry of new Spider-Heroes. From Web-Weaver to Spinstress, these new Spider-Heroes presented fresh, new, and unique takes on the Spider-Man mythos.  

EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE #1 heralds the return of one of last year’s breakout stars: Spider-Rex! In a brand-new story by Karla Pacheco and Pere Pérez, Spider-Rex will face off with Venomsaurus, an apex predator from the Jurassic Era.  

The issue also marks the startling debut of Spider-Killer, a shadowy new addition to the pantheon of Spider-Verse characters. This eerie new story will be told by Zander Cannon and Guillermo Sanna.  

In the preview below, Spider-Rex tussles with other prehistoric inhabitants. On one page, Spider-Rex swoons at the sight of a red-feathered dinosaur, while on another Venomsaurus makes his roaring debut. In the final two pages, Spider-Killer lurks in the shadows, stalking his prey.
