Here Is Your First Look Inside the Massive Milestone 'Amazing Spider-Man' #850
An all-star lineup joined forces for a super-sized Spidey story hitting comic shops next month!
Since making his swinging debut decades ago, Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man has learned his share of lessons, brought down swaths of villains, loved, lost, and laughed along the way. Now our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man has reached a new milestone: his 850th issue! But he won't be alone -- and not everyone joining the party is a friend!
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #850, on sale Wednesday, September 30, features a carousel of comic creators in addition to series writer Nick Spencer. For the main story, Spencer's words come to life courtesy of artists Ryan Ottley, Humberto Ramos, and Mark Bagley. The backup story will be crafted by Kurt Busiek, Chris Bachalo, Tradd Moore, Saladin Ahmed, and Aaron Kuder!
After watching the trailer above, check out a preview of the inside of the issue below!
“In the spirit of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN milestone issues past, we are giving you an issue you will not forget,” promises Editor Nick Lowe. “AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #50 gave you ‘Spider-Man No More’, issue #300 gave you Venom, issue #700 gave you Superior Spider-Man, and issue #800 gave you the Red Goblin. Nick Spencer and our legendary AMAZING SPIDER-MAN artists Ryan Ottley, Humberto Ramos, and Mark Bagley bring back the Green Goblin for a brutal story that tops them all! And as if THAT giant-sized story wasn’t enough, we have a trio of stories by Spidey legends from the past, present and future to drive home that Spider-Man is the greatest character in all of fiction!”
As if things weren’t bad enough for Spider-Man with Sin-Eater’s reign of terror reaching riot level… the Green Goblin is back! Spidey has been through a lot, but even the worst things that have ever happened to Spider-Man have just been a prelude for what happens here.
