DEADPOOL (2018)
Blockbuster Deadpool. Wade Wilson attempts a fresh start with his humble hit-for-hire business, but when the scales go cosmic, he’s more interested in schmoozing with the Avengers! Sure, some high budget guest stars round out this series, but they’re nothing compared to the entrepreneurial genius of Wade’s “stuffie undies”.
DP’s first appearance! Cable’s quiet night at the X-Mansion is crashed by a loquacious lunatic who’s been hired to carry out a hit for a “Mr. Tolliver”. And it’s fists at first sight!
Because every hero needs an origin. Before he gained his healing factor, Wilson was a man with terminal cancer clinging at a last-ditch chance. Through the lens of Lady Death, we learn what really happened at the Weapon X facility during Wade’s transformation, and how he came to be called Deadpool.
