'Valkyrie: Jane Foster' #11 Marks a New Arc with Artist Mattia De Iulis
Mattia De Iulis joins the creative team this May!
It wouldn't be a proper Jane Foster story without changes! This May, VALKYRIE: JANE FOSTER #11 hits comic stands with a new member of the creative team joining writers Jason Aaron and Torunn Grønbekk -- artist Mattia De Iulis!
Marvel.com asked De Iulis about taking on the next part of Jane Foster's journey: "When I received the mail from [Editor] Wil Moss I was working on a BLACK WIDOW variant cover and I had to take a break because I was petrified by it! Thor's world has always been something special to me, and telling Jane Foster’s story through my art is somehow beyond words. Torunn and Jason's work is amazing, I can't wait to show you what we're doing!"
This issue also marks the beginning of a brand new story arc for Jane Foster AKA Valkyrie, and by the looks of the cover by Mahmud Asrar, she may have some mischief on her hands:
She’s faced the Marvel Universe’s deadliest assassin — armed with the sword of a god — and won. She took the Grim Reaper straight to his eternal reward. She’s come face-to-face with Death herself — in more ways than one — and saved Asgard from a force beyond even Death’s powers. Already Valkyrie has journeyed across the Multiverse in her new role… but now Hel awaits her, along with its prickly rulers. And what does Loki, god of lies, have to do with it? An all-new arc starts here!
VALKYRIE: JANE FOSTER #11, written by Jason Aaron and Torunn Grønbekk with art by Mattia De Iulis, goes on sale in May. Stay tuned to Marvel.com for news about all upcoming comic releases!
