SNOW DAY FOR GROOT!

It's the first snow of the year in New York City, and the Guardians of the Galaxy have dropped off Groot and his best friend Rocket on Earth for them to meet up with Spidey!

The third book in the Rocket and Groot picture book series, SNOW DAY FOR GROOT!, written by Brendan Deneen and illustrations by Cale Atkinson, is now available wherever books are sold! SNOW DAY FOR GROOT! is the follow-up to Night Night, Groot and First Day of Groot!

In SNOW DAY FOR GROOT!, best pals Rocket and Groot have the day off from guarding the galaxy, so they're heading to the Big Apple! Spider-Man is waiting to show them the city-which just so happens to be covered in glittering snow. The three pals swing through the boroughs enjoying famous NYC winter activities, from sledding in Central Park to ice skating at Rockefeller Center. This is one snowy adventure you don't want to miss! And thanks to the folks over at Disney Publishing and Marvel Press, we have a glimpse into the book for you!

SNOW DAY FOR GROOT!

"I moved to New York City in 1997 and (as a lifelong Marvel fan) often found myself looking up, hoping to see Spidey swinging off to protect the innocent," shared Deneen to Marvel.com. "It was an absolute joy and honor to finally write one of my all-time favorite characters (especially his dialogue!). Having him swing around the city I love with Groot and Rocket is just the icing on the top! We are Groot!"

SNOW DAY FOR GROOT!

“I certainly got to embrace my inner fanboy, whilst drawing Rocket, Groot, and Spidey web slinging around a winter NYC," added Atkinson. "It's been a real blast working on the Groot series with Brendan, being able to fill the pages with all our favourite Super Heroes, as well as include some of the lesser known Marvel characters. I wanted to make sure there was a lot to see in the book, from full scenes of Super Heroes, to the hidden Ant-Man and The Wasp on each page. I hope readers enjoy all that we fit into the 32 pages.”
