Piecing Together MARVEL Puzzle Quest: Jeffrey (Land Shark) & Jeffrey (Symbiote)

Jeff the Land Shark is mischievous, adorable, and full with love—but he wasn't meant to be. Created for evil intent, Jeffrey rejected his directive and ultimately became fast friends with all who crossed his path (even if his insatiable hunger makes him a little nibbly at times). Under the care of Gwenpool, Deadpool, and Elsa Bloodstone, Jeff wants for nothing, getting all the munchies and adventures he could ever desire.

Naturally, Jeff gets a little extra bitey when you cross him with a symbiote! Jeff (Symbiote) is what happens when a genetically-engineered land shark with a ravenous appetite gets bonded with ever-hungry Venom. Still adorable—but a little confused by the extra voice in his head—Jeff still manages to keep any urges to destroy in check....according to Deadpool, at least. And you can trust him, right?

Jeffrey (Land Shark) and Jeffrey (Symbiote) are the latest to join the ranks of MARVEL Puzzle Quest!

A 3-Star Rarity character with Affiliations Heroes, Non-humans, Non-Humanoids, and Avengers, Jeffrey (Land Shark) has a toolkit that includes Quick Change, Nomnomnom, and Jeff! Don't Eat That!.

Jeffrey wanders off to get a disguise in service of some new scheme, probably one to get fed. During Quick Change, Jeff goes Away for 1 turn. When he returns, create a 4-turn(s) Disguise Countdown tile. While this tile is on the board, Jeff takes no match damage or damage from Attack tiles. When this tile expires, Jeffrey gets fed and heals 20% health.

When something threatens his friends, Jeff leaps into action teeth-first and doesn't let go: Nomnomnom! If what's threatening his friends is a fully trimmed roast turkey...? Well, sacrifices must be made. Deal 1669 Damage and create a 3-turn Fortified Countdown tile that deals 1113 Damage each turn.

Jeff! Don't Eat That! Jeffrey got into something he shouldn't, and at exactly the wrong time! Jeff! Spit that up! We need it! Select a tile type: Strike, Attack, or Protect. Jeff eats all these, converting them to Basic tiles, then spits them back up as friendly tiles 1 turn(s) later with a bonus 100% tiles (rounded up). Created friendly tiles have a strength equal to the average of all consumed tiles. Where did he get those extra ones, anyway?

A 5-Star Rarity character with Affiliations Heroes, Non-Humans, Non-Humanoids, Avengers, Symbiotes, and Enhanced, Jeffrey (Symbiote) has a toolkit that includes Powerful Friends, So Hungry, and Jeff! Eat That!.

It's a lot easier to hide your nature when your friends are a fire-breathing mini-dragon and a genetically modified velociraptor. Alongside his Powerful Friends, Lockheed creates a 1-turn Repeater tile that causes 3852 damage per turn. Goose destroys 3 enemy Strike, Attack, or Protect tiles. Lucky provides the pizza, giving allies a burst of 5772 health. Tippy-Toe drops acorns, dealing 9235 damage, ignoring Protect tiles. Alligator Loki provides Jeff with cover, creating a 2-turn Invisibility Countdown tile targeting Jeffrey.

Jeff was hungry before, but bonded to a symbiote, their appetite more than doubled. Those guys won't need some of those little bits on the ends, right? With So Hungry, deal 15411 damage and create a 2-turn Fortified Countdown tile that deals 13449 damage each turn. When this tile expires, Jeffrey heals 30786 health.

(PASSIVE) Symbiotes don't always agree, but Jeff gets along with about everyone. Allied Symbiotes gain 20% bonus match damage and reduce all damage by 15% as they cover for one another.

Jeff! Eat That! Jeff's stomach is made of iron, to start. With symbiote backup, they can eat about anything! Select a Strike, Attack, Protect, Abyss, Charged, or Web tile: Jeff eats all matching tiles, increasing their match damage by 5% and healing them for 3% health per tile.
