'MARVEL Strike Force' Is Recruiting for the Alpha Flight Team

MARVEL Strike Force needs your help to recruit two new characters to add to the Alpha Flight team! One of the premiere teams of heroes from Canada, Alpha Flight, got their own comic series starting in 1983, and their first run lasted over a decade until 1994, with over 130 issues. Some of these formidable team members have included Northstar, Aurora, Shaman, Puck, and Snowbird.

The Alpha Flight team needs your guidance in selecting two of the team's key members. The poll lasts for seven days, and you may cast one vote per day (seven in total), which will also give rewards for each vote, so be sure to check in daily. The two characters with the most votes at the end of seven days will be the winners!

Guardian

James Hudson stole an exoskeletal suit when he discovered it was to be used as a U.S. government weapon. He fled to Canada, bringing the suit’s helmet with him, and convinced the Canadian government to hire him to create a secret research and development program called Department H. There, he created a new suit and took the name “Guardian”. Taking a page from the Fantastic Four playbook, James started recruiting team members to form Alpha Flight.

Vindicator

Heather McNiel-Hudson worked at the same company as James Hudson, who developed the aforementioned prototype exoskeleton suit. When James fled to Canada, Heather followed, and a relationship quickly formed between them, soon becoming married to each other. As co-founder of Department H, Heather eventually assisted in research to develop an exoskeletal suit of her own, greatly enhancing her strength and durability and adopting the name “Vindicator”.

Sasquatch

Walter Langkowski was a student at Pennsylvania State University, where he met Bruce Banner and shared his affinity for gamma radiation research. When Bruce later became The Hulk, Walter was fascinated by the transformation and spent years studying the phenomenon. Confident he had learned enough, Walter exposed himself to gamma radiation, expecting the same result. However, instead of mirroring Bruce’s metamorphosis, he opened a mystic barrier and assumed the form of a being who passed through it, the Great Beast Tanaraq. With his new powers and surname, Sasquatch, he joined the ranks of Alpha Flight.
