7 'Marvel's Iron Man VR' Tips & Tricks to Get You Started

Everything you'll need to Suit Up in 'Marvel's Iron Man VR,' exclusively for PlayStation VR!

We know how daunting it can be to walk a mile in Tony Stark's (expensive) shoes. Don't worry, with the release of Marvel's Iron Man VR, you'll get to suit up as the Armored Avenger himself!

Marvel Let's Play host Josh Saleh is here to help you with these handy tips and tricks to live our your best genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist dreams in this original Iron Man adventure!

1. Use boost to strafe and dodge enemies

Make sure to double-tap triggers to engage the boost thrusters, and don't forget you can boost sideways to dodge incoming enemy attacks.

2. Keep It Moving

You don't have to stop flying to take down enemies; just use one hand to blast and the other to fly in order to stay out of the line of fire by being a harder target to hit.

3. Experiment with Different Loadouts

You can equip augments to enhance your armor's abilities.

The four augments slots are available with the Hud, Power, Chassis, and Thrusters.

Plus, you can craft new equipment at the Armor Station, such as Smart and Anti-Armor Missles, or Charge Repulsors, and then equip those to your two loadouts.

4. Analyze Enemies at the Garage's Drone Station

At Tony's Garage Station, you can detect enemy drone weaknesses to give yourself an advantage and turn the tide during battle.

For example, your Repulsors can clear the Graverunner’s missiles with ease. Graverunner tanks are heavily armored. Max out your damage by using every means available – weapon switching, Rocket Punch combos, and Ground Pound. At medium range, Graverunners can activate Siege Mode and fire a missile barrage. Find cover or fly low to stay out of its way.

5. Get Familiar with Auxiliary Weapons

Auxiliary weapons are more powerful and specialized than Repulsors. However, they're also more limited, with long ammo regeneration times.

6. Don't Forget to Use Your Iconic Weapons

Get aggressive!

Don't be afraid to get up close and personal as your Repulsors are more accurate at close range.

Whereas the Charged Repulsor can devastate enemies! Plus, only the Unibeam can break through hardlight shields.

7. Combine Your Punches

Keep your fists up! You can jab with alternating hands for a three-punch combo.

Suit up and become Iron Man NOW with Marvel’s Iron Man VR, exclusively on PlayStation VR.
