'Marvel's Spider-Man 2' Star Yuri Lowenthal Teases the Impact of Harry Osborn's Arrival

By the time Marvel's Spider-Man 2 picks up, Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Mary Jane Watson have nailed down a dynamic that works well for them—but all that's about to change. According to Peter Parker actor Yuri Lowenthal, the arrival of Harry Osborn will challenge the friendship they worked so hard to build and maintain throughout Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

"Peter now has his best friend coming back into his life with Harry, and he has his best friend who he grew up with, but then he has Miles. What's that like?" Insomniac Games Senior Creative Director Bryan Intihar pointed out.

Lowenthal explained, "Pete's got two people in his life and he's splitting the time between MJ and Miles, and while Harry used to be in my life more, he disrupts that. I mean, Peter's super happy to see Harry again, but it inevitably challenges this triangle that they've set up. A triangle is really strong and now it's a square, which, I guess, could be also be strong, but it's definitely different."

"Pete has taken on this mentor figure for Miles. Now, with Harry back, he just wants to spend time with Harry, because Harry is his best friend," he added.
