Adidas and Marvel Team Up For New X-Men Soccer Cleats

Sink your claws and cleats into this! Adidas and Marvel have teamed up for a brand new collection inspired by the X-Men, connecting the attributes of Wolverine and Cyclops with the innovations and specifications of the PREDATOR and X franchises. 

The pack update of the PREDATOR FREAK features new blockings, colors and graphics inspired by Wolverine and his enhanced physical capabilities. The X GHOSTED has also received a Marvel X-Men update, based around Cyclops, known for his adept leadership qualities. 

The adidas x Marvel X-Men Collection is a design update, meaning that the technology is identical to the inline base models of the PREDATOR FREAK and X GHOSTED. 

Originally launched in January 2021, PREDATOR FREAK is a razor-sharp silhouette featuring an upper that deploys adidas’ proprietary DEMONSKIN™ rubber spikes to provide players enhanced grip. A 360-degree wrap constructions blurs the lines between upper and outsole for total ball control, while the laceless upper features a large strike zone so players can fine-tune the trajectory on every pass and shot.

X GHOSTED uses an all-new adidas performance material technology, TRANSLUCENT MIRAGESKIN, which provides super-lightweight stability and support. Inspired by track and field, a sprint spike forefoot construct ensures that players are always primed for on demand lineal bursts. The CARBITEX SPEEDFRAME outsole with its integration of a tunable carbon plate, further empowers speed, explosive propulsion and more efficient power transmission, while a vacuum-fit experience further supports explosive moves.
