Watch Benedict Cumberbatch Wander Into A Comic Book Store Dressed As Doctor Strange

Wholesome content alert: Benedict Cumberbatch, in full Doctor Strange getup, decides that while in the middle of filming Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange he’s going to head into a nearby comic book shop in New York City. Wouldn’t you do the same given the opportunity?

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson shared a video of this moment to his Twitter, explaining that it was a “never before seen moment.” 

“While shooting in Manhattan right in front of a comic book store, I spontaneously suggested to Benedict that he go inside and he agreed,” he writes. 

In the video, Benedict walks into the shop — JHU Comic Books — explaining that he decided to “come off the shelf” and say hello to everyone. But, there’s no time to dawdle, as Derrickson’s voice can be heard in the background saying they’ve got to get back to work and make a movie!
