How Samuel L. Jackson's Lifelong Love of Comics and Super Heroes Fuels His Work
The actor who portrays Marvel Studios' Nick Fury and voices Frozone talks about how his childhood playacting helps him, in this new featurette from the 'Incredibles 2' Digital and Blu-ray release.
Samuel L. Jackson's incredible career has included many terrific characters across different genres, but the actor has often found himself operating in the super hero realm. Whether joining forces with the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, and the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Nick Fury -- a role he'll be seen reprising in the 1990s-set "Captain Marvel" from Marvel Studios when it hits theaters on March 8th -- or voicing Frozone in "The Incredibles" and "Incredibles 2," Jackson has played a notable role in many memorable super hero adventures.
With Disney and Pixar's "Incredibles 2" coming to Digital and Blu-ray soon, a new featurette from those releases has been revealed, in which Jackson discusses how he chooses his roles, and how a lifelong love of comic books and movies, and his memories of acting out adventures in his childhood, has long fueled his career.
You can check out the featurette above and watch "Incredibles 2" on Digital beginning October 23rd and on Blu-ray on November 6th!
