Scarlett Johansson dives into her story in a brand-new 'Black Widow' featurette!
Scarlett Johansson, who reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), assures you that "it's time for her story" in a brand-new featurette for Marvel Studios' Black Widow, in celebration of of National Super Hero Day.
"When it was time to assemble the Avengers, who did S.H.I.E.L.D. call?" states Johansson, before diving into the illustrious career of the former KGB assassin, agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Avenger. "You've been waiting for this," proclaims Johansson.
In the action-packed spy thriller, which launches simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access in most Disney+ markets on July 9, Natasha Romanoff confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Joining Johansson in the new feature film are Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff. Black Widow—the first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige.
Black Widow arrives in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 9.
