'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier': New Featurette Examines Sam and Bucky as Co-workers

Our two favorite co-workers, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, are back to give you a behind-the-scenes look at Marvel Studios' The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Start streaming the new original series March 19 on Disney+.

"It's an example of opposites attract," states Mackie in the featurette. "We couldn't be more different."

"There are definitely days where I feel like he's going to kill me," says Stan with a laugh. "He's like when you have a fly in your house and it just won't go away. But you have a very good dynamic."

"We have fun with each other," notes Mackie, "and that carries into these characters. I'm so excited because it's exhilarating."

"It's a throwback to all those buddy comedy, action movies," reflects Stan on the tone of the series. "You just don't know if they're going to kill each other or not."

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier sees the return of two of the MCU heroes — Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). In the six-episode series, the pair, who came together in the final moments of Avengers: Endgame, team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities, and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
