Marvel Studios’ ‘WandaVision’ Electrifies the Cover of Empire Magazine

Streaming on Disney+ January 15, 2021.

Wanda and Vision are together again on the cover of the latest Empire magazine, ahead of the debut of Marvel Studios’ WandaVision on Disney+! Check out the trippy cover below, reminiscent of the previously released WandaVision posters for the brand new series.

Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, WandaVision marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision — two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Viewers tuning in to WandaVision will find themselves on a journey through classic television tropes, including the popular "mocumentary" style. In an interview with Empire, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teases the characters will "talk-to-the-camera, shaky-camera, documentary style.”

Additionally, the  series will explore the obstacles Wanda went through during the Infinity Saga. Feige continues in the same interview, "I don’t think any single person has gone through more pain and trauma than Wanda Maximoff. And no character seems to be as powerful as Wanda Maximoff. And no character has a power-set that is as ill-defined and unexplored as Wanda Maximoff. So it seemed exploring that would be worthwhile...Who else is aware of that power? Where did it come from? Did the Mind Stone unlock it?”
