Domino was widely known as Apocalypse's most deadly assassin. After the Shadow King detected the presence of a powerful mutant, Apocalypse sent Domino to track this mutant down and ask it to join him. If it refused Domino was to kill it. Teaming up with Grizzly and Caliban, Domino began her search in earnest, searching among the mutant underground. She eventually located the mutant among a theatre troupe led by Forge. A battle ensued in which lives were lost on both sides. X-Man used his power to destroy Domino's mind by uprooting each death Domino had brought about until her mind overloaded.
