Biography

Biography

Extraordinary beings known as Firedrakes emerge when a society is in need of fire. Huey Moon is one of these Firedrakes, and his pyrokinesis leads him to join other superhumans in a glorious Pantheon.

As Hot as Fire

Possessing the Firedrake gene, Huey Moon discovers he can conjure fire but he cannot control it at first. He lives in rags as all his clothes would burn, alienating him from society and retreats to a Philadelphia junkyard. While there, he is approached by Mike Moran, AKA Miracleman, Avril Lear, AKA Miraclewoman, and two Warpsmiths, who invite him to join their ranks in a new superhuman Pantheon. When realizing they meant no harm, Huey elects to join as he is eager to belong to something, to have a role in humankind’s future.

All Fired-Up

As a Firedrake, Huey can cause anything in range to ignite, sometimes explosively. He is also immune to the harmful effects of fire.

Playing with Fire

Johnny Bates, AKA Kid Miracleman, attacks London and in so doing, attracts the attention of the Pantheon. He attempts to take him down with fire, but it doesn’t stop him.

Surefire Friends

Huey joins the Pantheon of superhumans, which includes Miracleman and Miraclewoman, created from alien Qys technology, as well as the alien Warpsmiths, beings able to teleport across time and space. Together, they face threats like Kid Miracleman and change the world.

Burning All Kinds of Stuff

In 1985, Huey joined his fellow Pantheon to stop a most grave threat, Kid Miracleman, who had attacked London and created a gruesome holocaust. Though Huey burned his surroundings and set KM aflame, the threat was not stopped until the Warpsmith Aza Chorn used time travel to prevent further death and destruction.

With no cause to delay their plans for humankind, the Pantheon, with Miracleman ostensibly in charge, enacted sweeping global changes. From London’s ashes arose his towering pyramid, Olympus, and a new world—one free of war, of famine, of poverty—known as The Golden Age. Huey had become the world’s Fire-God, and as such was in charge of meeting energy demands on Earth. He created windmill forests, coastal waterwheels, and converted weaponry into satellites.

Huey and the Pantheon lived in this new world for 40 years. Eventually a Qys named Mors was sent to Earth to join their Pantheon. Mors brought back one of the original Miracleman Family members, Dicky Dauntless, AKA Young Miracleman, in an android body. Huey welcomed Young Miracleman to the Pantheon’s community, though Dicky didn’t stay for long and opposed the world they had created.
