Kid Deadpool is a mercenary-in-training, studying under the most skilled merc on the block, Wade Wilson, AKA Deadpool, until he sets out on his own.
From Tragedy to Merc Trainee
While Christopher Cassera was at the store, his father was set afire by mobster Maxy Millions and left for dead. Christopher returned to find Deadpool, who had been hired to kill Maxy and arrived too late to save John. As per John’s dying wish, Deadpool took in Christopher, who demanded revenge for his father’s death. Donning a spare costume and weaponry, Christopher became Kid Deadpool and helped Deadpool track Maxy Millions to downtown Brooklyn, where Christopher attacked Deadpool for being unable to save John. Upon running out of ammo, Christopher agreed to put aside his differences with Deadpool, and the duo soon tracked Maxy Millions to a nearby club, where Kid Deadpool slipped explosives into the mobster’s pocket, detonating them when he tried to flee.
Firearm and Explosives Expert
Kid Deadpool is moderately skilled with firearms and other weapons, especially explosives. He typically uses a katana and wears night-vision goggles. He also rides a motorcycle.
Tenuous Allies and Deadly Enemies
The mobster Maxy Millions is responsible for the death of Christopher’s father, and as such the young man takes measures to enact revenge. He becomes a partner to Deadpool, despite the fact that Deadpool didn’t stop Maxy like he was supposed to. Christopher struggles with the Merc with the Mouth’s role in his father’s death and attempts to avenge his father, but eventually gives up and comes to terms with it.
A Merc’s Life
Having avenged his father, Christopher was given half of Deadpool’s fee for killing Maxy and used it for tuition to Oxford University under the false name Christopher Hoisik. As he left for Europe, Christopher attempted to destroy Deadpool’s warehouse headquarters, but Deadpool found and disarmed the explosives.
Returning from Europe, Kid Deadpool destroyed Deadpool’s warehouse in his second attempt, finally coming to terms with Deadpool’s role in his father’s murder. Christopher then returned Deadpool’s guns and detonator, keeping Deadpool’s motorcycle and leaving to see the world with his new girlfriend Miki.
Later attending Deadpool’s funeral, he was possessed by Deadpool’s spirit and forced to pinch Cain Marko, AKA Juggernaut’s butt, resulting in a punch that launched him out of his boots and led to a fight amongst the other attendees.
