Landa's past history has yet to be revealed. She lived on an unnamed planet within the Inniverse and was the wife of the tyrant Occulus. They were both chosen as members of the Gem Guild. Landa was a very compassionate and caring person and she disagreed with her husband harsh and brutal abuse of his power. She revealed that during a ritual sacrifice, her severed her forearm. She realized that she would not be able to persuade Occulus to change his ways, so she joined Wild Blood and the Fantastic Four in the rebellion against him.
