A child princess born into power, the future Star-Thief's desires where never opposed by others - but her carefree life ended when a blinding laser beam struck her eyes and penetrated her brain, leaving her comatose. Traumatized by her separation from the outside world, the princess secretly reached out across light-years to tap into the power of the Cosmic Cube, a force field containing energy capable of altering reality. Heedless of her actions' consequences, the princess - mistakenly equating starlight with the laser beam that injured her - used the Cube's energy to transport all the stars visible from her planet into a pocket-dimension, inadvertently destroying many civilizations whose existence depended on those stars for survival.
