da_skeptic member 5pts Okay so let me get this right... The he in "He loves you" which seemed kinda important is God. The Skrulls captured Reed Richards, infected Tony with a virus... The only people that could defeat them, and decided that they couldn't kill them. Then, like they have so many times before, both escaped/got free and played a big part in the overthrow. It took... ONE single person to save Reed. The Skrull's final plan was... After more than 5 years of planning was a fight in the park... Your best vs mine A Skrull warrior turned on his own for some lame reason And power is handed over to a known psychopath because he got in the kill blow. That's the big change!!! Well whoopee do da. What an utter crock of you know what. The whole point of this damn story was that the Skrulls were supposedly better fit to lead the planet then the humans. Which was pbly true. We have the technology right now to save the world from all its ailments and choose not to. They didn't want to wipe us out it save humans from themselves. Lead us out of our mess... Combine to be better. Humans then resorted to violence and war to win and we're supposed to cheer for them. That would have been such a better angle to follow. What if the change that was coming was that the Skrulls assimilated? That they all had to work together. Instead we got Dark Reign which was Norman being corrupt until he was found to be too evil. Lame.
