"Tell the girl, she will have her gods back very soon!" *searches for them in the palace up above* "Eh...this is boring. I'm sure they'll be turning up somehow, so I just go on..."

In all honesty, a quite decent opening to this series. I'm not all that fond for overly epic storylines at the start of a comic, but...well, its Thor. It's always going to be grand.

Something, I'll never be happy about, no matter the protagonist, are looks into the future. Why do you do them? Usually, during the storylines they're happening, the events of the story undo this future anyway...and if the future is fixed in time, it's just unnecessarily constricting. It's pointless in both cases...

Still, good issue to start with

This is how you start a new series, comes right out the gates swinging.

This is the first Thor title I thoroughly enjoyed. Great job.

I don't know if this comment will ever reach Jason Aaron but here goes: you are a great writer and I really liked SCALPED but the last issue kicked me in the junk and made me really angry with Bad Horse. I'm digging your Marvel work, but SCALPED, man, why?

What?! Wow! Just started reading the lead up to Ragnarok Now, in some awesome issues of Uncanny Avengers and decided to check out this title to see if I can find out more about Thor's enchanted Ax fight with Celestials. Not sure if these are the issues to read but I'm quite impressed with this 1st issue. Glad Thor is talking pretty normal and not with his usual God Smack.

Really great! Since 2007, Thor has really bounced back, and this is just another leap in the right direction!
