A darker and edgier world...okay, this really isn't a direction I like in comics. In fact, it's easily the root of most of the bad comics since the 90es. And the timeskip really makes the actions of the first issue extremely cliché. So...yeah, not liking this direction.

That aside, Cap fighting to keep him and the boy alive is awesome to see, even though we are only told all his experiences and judgements. The only thing we see is them escaping a threat by using "Summon bigger fish", killing said bigger fish, and get captured. Cap understands quickly enough, that the ones who captured them hunt for Zolas lackeys, but the language barrier (and possibly understandable mistrust) are making it difficult to tell them in time, they have a common enemy. And...apparently they kill the boy. Well, the comic ends right after they smash...

Let's see, how this goes on. I do hope, though, we get more color very quickly...
