Madame Tussauds New York Welcomes Brie Larson as Captain Marvel

Last week, in celebration of the theatrical release of Marvel Studios' "Captain Marvel," Madame Tussauds New York launched its first-ever Captain Marvel figure above the legendary aircraft carrier, Intrepid, before it officially "landed" at Madame Tussauds New York.
“Today, first and foremost, we’re excited to celebrate International Women’s Day and women who embody strength, bravery and achievement celebrated globally today, and every day,” said Christine Haughney, regional head of marketing at Merlin Entertainments, plc.
“We can’t wait for fans to see and feel the presence of Captain Marvel on screen and in person at Madame Tussauds and hope her character inspires fearless females all around the world,” continued Haughney.
Visitors to Madame Tussauds New York can take flight with Captain Marvel as they soar through the skies in an interactive experience within the attraction’s Marvel Super Hero Zone.
Captain Marvel joins an action-packed line-up of Super Heroes at Madame Tussauds New York that includes The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Spider-Man and more. The Marvel Super Hero Zone also features the Marvel Super Heroes 4D film experience with thrilling special effects, including wind, water, smell and more.
