Ghost-Spider, Shuri, Inferno, and America Chavez Headline Three New Animated 'Marvel Rising' Specials

Ironheart arrives at WonderCon! Today at the Anaheim convention, Marvelites were treated to the world premiere screening of the latest chapter in "Marvel Rising."
If you can't get enough "Marvel Rising," well, get ready! During the Marvel Animation Presents panel, Cort Lane, Marvel's svp, animation and family entertainment, revealed three new "Marvel Rising" animated specials coming later this year to Marvel HQ, including "Marvel Rising: Battle of the Bands," which sees the return of Dove Cameron as Ghost-Spider; "Marvel Rising: Operation Shuri," featuring Daisy Lightfoot portraying Shuri; and Tyler Posey as Inferno and Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez taking center stage in "Marvel Rising: Playing With Fire."
"Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron" goes live on the Marvel HQ YouTube channel on Wednesday, April 3 at 4pm PT. In conjunction with the premiere of "Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron," select voice talent from the special, including Sofia Wylie, Kathreen Khavari, Kamil McFadden, and more, will be live-chatting with fans on Marvel HQ Wednesday, April 3 at 4:00pm PT. In "Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron," Riri Williams AKA Ironheart (voiced by Sofia Wylie) is adjusting to college life and feeling socially isolated because she is younger than the other students. After Hala the Accuser destroys the school's engineering lab and kidnaps Riri's best friend, Riri finds inspiration in her hero Iron Man and hatches a plan to defeat Hala and save the day.
"Marvel Rising: Battle of the Bands" spotlights Dove Cameron (“Descendants 3”) as Ghost-Spider in a 22-minute animated special. On the day of Gwen’s “Battle of the Bands” competition, mysterious attacks force her and the Secret Warriors to investigate. Can they save the city and get Gwen to the concert on time?
"Marvel Rising: Operation Shuri" will introduce the fan-favorite character Shuri, voiced by Daisy Lightfoot (“Marvel Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest”) to the Marvel Rising universe in a 22-minute animated special. The lives of the Secret Warriors are turned upside down when faced with their latest mission: hang out with Shuri, the Crown Princess of Wakanda, and show her what it’s like to be an ordinary teenager. But nothing’s ordinary when you’re dealing with one of the smartest and most famous people on the planet.
"Marvel Rising: Playing With Fire" will star Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”) as Inferno. In this 44-minute special, Inferno's powers are stolen by a young and powerful villain and it's up to the Secret Warriors to defeat their new foe and help their friend. But does Inferno even WANT his powers back? Meanwhile, America Chavez, voiced by Cierra Ramirez (“Good Trouble”), learns a lesson about friendship and family from teammate Ms. Marvel.
