Intent on devolving humankind via his time machine, King Simian (formerly known as King Sapien) was defeated by international agents of G.R.A.M.P.A. when he and his henchmen, the Primateers, were devolved into chimpanzee-like men after devolved agent Ace destroyed the time machine with an exploding bullet, restoring himself and his partner One-Eyed Jacquie. Simian was later imprisoned at the Bronx Zoo.
